Dates for the 2025 Hobart Cup

We’ve realised that one weekend isn’t enough to showcase all the amazing talent we have, plus we know the weather likes to keep us on our toes. So we are making a big move for 2025. The Hobart Cup will now span over two weekends.

We know this might be a bit of a juggle for families with children in different age groups, but we are all about making our Cup better, certain and more enjoyable for everyone.

29, 30 & 31 August 2025 - U6, U7, U8, U10, U13 and U15

5, 6 & 7 September 2025 - U9, U11, U12, U14 and U16

More information to come!

Acknowledgment

The organisers of the Hobart Cup, alongside the parents, players and football community wish to acknowledge the deep connection to Country and Culture of the traditional custodians on the lands on which we meet, gather and play. For thousands of years, the nine nations of Tasmanian Aboriginal peoples have hunted, gathered, shared and practised Culture on these lands. We acknowledge the pakana palawa of  lutruwita and the Tasmanian Aboriginal communities today and always. We thank them for the history and culture of Country and pay our respect to Elders past, present and those to come.  It is a privilege to play on these beautiful and sacred lands and we are committed to form a part of and support the continued sharing of knowledge and Culture. We gather and play in the spirit of deep respect. Always was, always will be Aboriginal lands.
